About Dr. Tom Folk
Dr. Tom Folk is considered the leading authority on the Pennsylvania Impressionists. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Art History with the pre-eminent expert on American Impressionism, William H. Gerdts. He has created over 15 exhibitions on the work of the Pennsylvania Impressionists and is currently preparing the catalogue raisonné on Edward Redfield. He has written the only scholarly book on Pennsylvania Impressionists. Dr. Folk is a professor, curator and appraiser (A.A.A).
